As those of you who are here may have noticed, the water was turned off last night and there is a precautionary boil water in place now.  I am  including a NOTICE that apparently was sent out for further information for you.  

No one here knew that this was going to happen, but it really is up to individual owners also to be aware as much as possible.  The signs went up last night, but I didn’t notice them as I was not out and about.

I have signed up for Punta Gorda alerts so I am not caught unaware again, and would suggest others that want to stay in the loop to do the same.

NOTICE:  Disruption of Water Service***The City of Punta Gorda Utilities Department will be replacing a valve on Deborah Dr & Bal Habor Blvd.  In order to accomplish this task, the water will be turned off on Bal Harbor Blvd from Aqui Esta Dr. south including all side streets. Work planned has been moved up to Tuesday October 24, 2023 beginning at approximately 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM.  There is currently a “Precautionary Boil Water in affect”.
