Our roofs are finished and look amazing!
The next step is getting wind mitigation verification forms, which many insurances require. To accomplish this, the board has contracted a company to complete this and it will be done this coming Tuesday, August 1, 2023. In order to conduct the inspection and get required photos of the underside of the roof, the inspector will need access into the attics of all 5 buildings. This is best done through the attic access in the 3 BR units. Therefore, I will be giving access to him and accompanying him into those units. We are not sure if he will require both ends of the buildings or just one. So, I want to give notice to all owners of the 2nd floor 3 BR units that this is being done. If you have cameras, please do not be alarmed when you see us enter. And please do not call the police!! It is only me.
Once it is done and we receive the reports, I will send them to you and also put the info on our website for future access. This could save you quite a bit on your insurance premiums, and even some lenders are asking for it.
